Provide education, tool kit and relevant information on childcare and family friendly practices that support employees needs in meeting needs of their young children’s care and education

In collaboration with Early Learning and Development Work Group, Hampton Roads Workforce Council Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and Employers:
Create and disseminate a tool kit with examples of policies and best practices for businesses supporting families access to early care and education

VA ranks 10th in nation for most expensive childcare
- Compile and disseminate information and resources on accessing high quality childcare and childcare subsidy to local employers
- Create and host three educational training sessions for businesses on creating and implementing policies and strategies for family friendly practices and accessing early care and education.
Accountability:
Track and report number of businesses that have received tool kit, childcare information, or participated in an educational training.
